Annual Coverage Review
Your Medicare plan can change its costs, drug formulary, and provider network every year — and so can your health and prescriptions. Each fall during the Annual Enrollment Period (October 15–December 7), we review your current plan against the new options to make sure it's still your best fit for the coming year.
Why it matters
A plan that was perfect last year may drop your medication from its formulary, raise a copay, or drop a doctor from its network. If you do nothing, you're automatically re-enrolled — sometimes into a worse deal. A 15-minute review can save real money and prevent a nasty January surprise.
What we check
We re-run your prescriptions against your plan's new formulary, confirm your doctors are still in-network, compare your plan's new premium and copays to competing plans, and flag any changes to your extra benefits. Then we tell you whether to stay or switch — and handle the switch if needed.
We do it for you, every year
You don't have to remember or navigate it. As your local agent we reach out each fall, review your plan, and keep you in the best option — free, year after year. That ongoing service is the whole point of working with a local advisor.
Questions, answered
Do I need to review my plan every year?
Yes — plans and your needs change annually. We review yours every fall during AEP (Oct 15–Dec 7) so you're never stuck with a worse plan by default.
What if my plan got worse?
We compare it to every competing plan in your county and switch you to a better one during AEP, with the new coverage starting January 1. There's no cost to switch through us.
Do I have to do anything to get my review?
No — we reach out each fall. But you're always welcome to call us anytime you get a plan-change notice in the mail.

- Medicare Plan Compare — compare Medicare Advantage and Part D plans by ZIP.
- Social Security (ssa.gov) — enroll in Parts A & B and check eligibility.
- CMS.gov — Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
